DANIEL M. LANDRY III

Daniel M. Landry III is a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. He served the last 36 years of his legal career as a Felony Prosecutor and First Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District covering the parishes of Lafayette, Acadia, and Vermilion Parishes. In his role as the First Assistant District Attorney Daniel handled multiple complex and high-profile felony cases. His vast trial experience makes him well equipped to handle the most complex and demanding matters individuals and businesses may face in the legal arena.


Daniel was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1981 and is a former Staff Attorney for the Third Circuit Court of Appeals for the State of Louisiana. As a prosecutor, he has gained extensive courtroom and jury experience. He draws from that experience in a wide range of court cases for his clients.



He is a frequent speaker and lecturer on numerous legal topics and is admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of Louisiana and is also admitted to practice before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Landry is a member of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association, Lafayette Parish Bar Association Family Section, National District Attorney Association, Louisiana District Attorneys Association, and the Southwest Bankruptcy Bar Association. The firm is approved as legal counsel for the Fraternal Order of Police and the Police Law Enforcement Association. He also currently serves as a Master and Treasurer of the Acadiana Inn of Court, a legal organization designed to develop professionalism in the legal profession.
